PRAY WITH US ~

Dear Father in Heaven, Protect us, God, from Fear! Fear of this virus, fear due to isolation, fear of the unknown, fear due to a lack of trust in you. American institutions are being shut down in an effort to protect us from this worldwide disease. It is often in moments like this that we find comfort in being with others, but those options are being temporarily being removed. In their place, Lord,help us to seek your face. Help us to model Christ, who often retreated to quiet places to seek solace and to intercede on behalf of us sinners. Please teach us how to use this time to grow closer to you by means of time in the word and in prayer.

 

Teach us how to pray Lord, for those who need special help and intercession. Prayer warriors are needed Lord and we need to be part of that army! The threats of this world are real, but we do not stand against such threats alone. Our Heavenly Father stands with us, and in you, we can find all we need to face such times. You, our God offers us a spirit of peace in place of fear and a spirit of hope in a place of worry. We are Thankful God! Thank you for your Son in whose name we pray, Amen
